In an upcoming issue of Billboard Magazine, it features this column stating that Mariah and her current manager and long term friend, Jermaine Dupri, parted ways. She is rumoured to be in talks with Kevin Liles, her partner in her latest Butterfly drink venture. See clipping below:
Jermaine and Def Jam/Island were rumored to never have a good relationship so this may be best. I hope Liles can handle this. He helped Trey get a #1 album but she would be the biggest star (IMO) under his management.
I really hope so BUT mariah need to stop wearing these ugly ass gala dresses and perform more like how her music is. Her performances this era kinda ruined her latest album for me.

Jermaine was the one with good ideas, though, like the "surprise" release. This just goes to what we already know: Mariah calls all the shots no matter what, and nothing will change.

I firmly believe this, which is why I was shocked they pulled the plug on that idea. I believe this would've worked for her. I just hope that whoever manages her in the future, they can kneel on her and really have her focus on the prize.
She should clean up the rest of the house though, including removing that awful graphic designer.
If this is true with all due respect the first rule of this new manager should be: let's get fit. No shade but she needs to loose a couple of pounds so she can wear normal outfits.
