This. I can't use that site anymore because it's too full of pretentious 16 year olds who yearn to find something about themselves that makes them different. That or they believe they know how the real world functions when they couldn't even purchase a fast food meal without their parents help, or leave their house to participate in real-life interactions.

To answer the OP, I think it's just a way for people to make themselves seem different from other people, in a "unique" way.

This sounds like nonsense to me but who am I too impede on someone's life if it doesn't affect me. I will say though, if I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt, those in the trans community using those arguments above are very ignorant. It reminds me of the homosexual community suppressing the trans community. hypocritical liberals/social justice warriors *gag*
