I hate talking on the phone and texting so I can easily go without. I prefer face to face communication and everyone I know lives in the same town as me so it's not difficult to get in touch. I'm glad though, seeing all these people that can't go for 30 minutes without their phone is kinda sad
I love my actual phone, but I don't get why people say a phone is her/his life, like what?
When I'm on vacation, I disable all my "social" apps and games, only use it to stay in contact with my parents and sisters. And also I hate being with friends while they are talking/eating/playing with their phones
I just got a phone (I haven't even had it for a week yet), and while having a phone is nice, it doesn't add anything to life. It just gives me something to fiddle with while I wait around in public.
Hell no. School requires me to have a phone, work requires me to have a phone, and I have friends who have moved who I am still close to and like to keep in touch with.
I pretty much always have it on me, but I only really use it if I'm waiting for something/someone. Or I'm in the bathroom/bed, or sometimes otherwise out of my room in the house.
Ummm how else will i:
-Read my emails (VERY important btw cuz tablets & laptops are way too big to carry around)
-Make/Receive calls
-Texts
-Social media
Like, what's the point of even living? In today's world if you don't have a phone on you, you more/less don't exist.
Information is perishable too, it does have an expiry date lol.
