I don't really like when people downplay cultural appropriation, especially when the criticism is coming from the people affected. I wish people on ATRL would be more sensitive to this issue and understand where people are coming from. With that said, however, it's unfortunate that Katy is getting the blame for all of this when it's most likely her stylists and creative team coming up with these ideas. Her team is filled with very stereotypical and ignorant white gays, who we all know just love to copy black women. What they should do is do their research instead of having Katy do all of this ******** and then get dragged for it.
