Using Google services to conduct illegal activity should have its negative consequences. I'm glad this man was caught.
However, the willingness to give up privacy is not startling but still depressing to read. I'm not hiding anything in my emails, but that doesn't mean I want it open for just anyone to read. It's my business. People expect privacy, and if privacy is guaranteed, then people who seek it should not use the service!
Hmm, what if underage people store their personal explicit photos online?
A) Who's to say that Google people wouldn't download those for their own personal collections?
B) Could these kids be charged? I mean, look at all those stories we hear about teens sexting each other and then getting charged for peddling child ****ography, of themselves.

Pretty sure if you're under 18 and storing explicit photos anywhere (phone, computer), it's still considered child ****ography.
