I just watched it again and I'm telling you, that was pre-recorded. SM always does this thing where if they use pre-recorded vocals they cut the backing track, which is really obvious in that performance. The girls' voices are way louder than the track and they blend perfectly, which makes no sense because none of the other performances from Inkigayo sounded that way. Plus, they keep a consistent volume and there's no "p", "s", or "k" blowback on the mics which, again, doesn't make any sense. Third, listen to the way the volume magically shoots up like a decibel during the pre-chorus. Seulgi's not projecting any more than she does in the rest of the song because her tone is smooth and consistent, but she's randomly twice as loud when that part starts, and so are the others. It's clearly pre-recorded.
It's not edited though, because Irene was a little flat on her singing parts and Seulgi messed up at one point. Yesterday's wasn't edited either even though it was pre-recorded cause Wendy cracked during the bridge and Seulgi did her runs a little differently. They can definitely sing, they just haven't done it totally live yet.
