Lotus wasn't acclaimed, the singles were. X's last top 10 as a lead artist, this year, was universally acclaimed which helped the song outsell Beyonce (the album) + Drunk In Love + XO + Partition + Pretty Hurts combined worldwide.

Nope. I've seen the recipets of Xtina's supposed influence. I just have a higher standard. When I think great influence, I think Whitney, Janet, Mariah, MJ etc.
Critics aren't just some random people from the streets. They have to be qualified in their field. Although, some are just there because of connections but you can say the same about the Grammys - X fans love using this receipt.

When it comes to the new generation, when success and acclaim are counted on a much smaller scale, Christina is one of the most acclaimed. Receipts are nothing when you weren't there to actually see the impact yourself. She's had 2 flop eras, so people are bound to discredit her, but from 2002 until 2007 Christina was acclaimed and generally praised.
