Yes, her touring receipts are great. But for an artist of her alleged calibre, isn't 3.6 million albums worldwide pretty disappointing? She's also struggling with singles. Touring and advertisements appear to be her main source of income.

Dead @ 3.6M being disappointing. Have you checked the current album sales climate in 2014? VERY few have been able to scan multi-platinum album domestically and internationally. LOL @ struggle. Not when she's sold so much without doing intense promo, album discounts and payola assisted hit singles. It's not her fault, the demand for her tour is high. Your agenda for this thread is so transparent.

She has plenty of hits to her name, but 'Beyonce' is still the biggest brand. Whereas songs like "Tik Tok" or "Timber" are more notable than "Ke$ha" the artist by the GP (even though she's my fave, it's true).

I'm not really seeing your point, considering that tours are consisted of an artist music. So if people didn't like her music, they wouldn't be paying so much to her perform it live

Don't be naive, you can't possibly be forgetting Kim K and Lindsay Lohan's 200m+ tours (performing their music, no one knows it but they're big celebs so they sold that much), Superbowl Halftime shows and Glastonbury headlining, being the second most awarded female artists, etc.

And Beyonce just nabbed those last two because of her CELEBRITY, no one knew or cared about her albums or songs. BEYONCE? Crazy in Love, Halo, Single Ladies? Those didn't get her the spot, it was just the headlines obviously. People would pay 100+$ to see Kim performing live as well, obviously.

It's like, any normal, reasonable person would look at the stats and think: "Hmm... Beyonce's singles performances are below what we'd expect of her... I wonder why? Is her music not radio friendly? Does she not promote properly? Does she just not connect to the singles-purchasing demographic? Maybe her demographic one that doesn't legally purchase music?
