Mess. The whole "drinking tea activity" is something other countries enforce upon us based on stereotype alone. We do drink a lot of tea but I don't think it's something many Brits would seriously consider a quality of typical Britishness.

I lived in the UK for 9 years and now that I'm leaving I think I can post in here.

Brits are proud people just like any other European nation.
All the people I have met throughout the years were very open minded.
Not true Brits have bad teeth that is a wrong stereotype.
Immigration is a problem especially EU immigration seem to bother people as they feel they have no control over it.
English Breakfast is great!
People do have some superiority complex I have experienced it myself.
I don't get the hype around the Royal Family, a lot of people are obsessed.
Brits have the best comedy series in the world (Keeping Up Appearances, Fawlty Towers etc.)
TV channels seem to only show programs about buying/selling Houses at home and overseas.
Brits love alcohol, but who doesn't???
I love the sarcastic humor that kinda "Russell Brand" style humor people use here a lot.

London is overcrowded full of tourists, people are stressed and always in a hurry, the countryside on the other hand, Bath, Brighton, Hastings, Cornwall, Lake district, Cotswolds etc. are breathtakingly beautiful.

And why does everyone keeps saying we have a superiority complex? A lot of what y'all are saying is understandable, but you're so wrong about that.

It looks like a cool place. Of course there are the stereotypes and things we see in the media, but I can't really look at a place that way if I haven't actually interacted with people from there. I hear the food there is terrible and it's really rainy/gloomy all the time though
