Justin bieber is constantly loosing fans everyday and I was curious to what you lot think..

do you think justin bieber will lose his fanbase and end up being a huge flop or do you think he'll redeem himself and make lots of hits and have a huge legacy..?

Honestly, I think he'll battle addiction in his early-mid 20s, probably to cocaine. Then he'll mature, get clean and have a huge comeback. He'll do some massive tell-all with Oprah about how embarrassed he is about his behaviour during his late teens/early 20s, and how he was just acting out because he was a child star gone wrong, who was just given too much. Too much money, too much fame and all too young.

He'll mature. I think he'll actually make an incredible pop star when he's a man. But as a boy, not so much. I'm only 2 years older than him, but I look at some of the stuff I did/said 2 years ago and cringe in embarrassment. I'm so grateful I didn't have the entire world watching me when I did those things, and that it's not on record/the internet forever.

I don't think he'll ever be taken seriously. People are hating on him even after his image change, his voice has become flat, the public opinion on him is pretty negative... he needs a miracle to make a strong comeback.

I never understood why he got sooo much hate. He was just a teen star with a strange hairstyle. The first time I heard of him is via Facebook when people were constantly trashing him for his voice, songs and looks.

Then i searched for him on YT, found Baby and was like "what's the big deal? He's just another boy teen star who is popular with teenage girls'

What did he do to deserve all that hate?

I completely agree with this. A lot of the younger people here are kinda unaware of what douche bags Mark Wahlberg and Robert Downey Jr. were way back when (RDJ even went to prison) and they had very similar stories.

I just hope he finds the same level of maturity and doesn't become a bastion of celebria and addiction, like Lindsay Lohan.

I think he will turn his career around. Maybe not this year but his mid-late 20s, he'll mature and make a big comeback. Even if I hate him right now and am not that fond of his music, I've always felt he had the drive and passion to be big.

If Believe album underperform I cant imagine how he would do with the next era!

I agree but he has had a complete resurgence and is nowhere near as bad as he once was.

if only he survives till the age of 27
and these days are not like in the past, Mark or RDJ could burry their past somehow because TMZ and the mass internet did not exist back then

I can see this happening. I've thought this of him months ago, but then he got a little too out of hand that I just can't see it anymore. He's been doing too much that I don't think people would be willing to give him a second chance. If he keeps getting messier and then ends up getting addicted to something, they wouldn't even bother with him anymore.

But if he starts trying to clean up his act from now - and even if he does end up getting addicted to something in the process - then just maybe people would give him a second chance. He has to start from now though or it'll be too late later on

Ever noticed how it's mostly straight guys and rock/metal fans who hated him in the beginning? It's because they felt he was taking all the girls away from them and changing the standards of what girls wanted in a guy, so they felt threatened. That's why they started hating on him and bashing him, and eventually, they decided to start comparing him to Justin Timberlake and Kurt Cobain to prove that he sucks and that he can't write or sing that well or whatever. That's how I see it.

It also didn't help that he was kind of a late bloomer. They made fun of him for that. It was basically just bullying a celebrity. Eventually, over time, it became "cool" to bash Justin Bieber which then evolved into bullying other celebrities which then evolved to trolling them and sending them death threats on Twitter and stuff. It was basically one huge chain reaction.
