According to new rumours, we can expect new music in form of a EP from Britney Spears.
Word on the street is that Britney has recorded a couple new songs, along with previously recorded tracks, that will be released in EP form. There are two collaborations on the EP as well. The EP is likely to have a few of Britney Jean and Femme Fatale club-bangers along with two newly recorded songs. The EP is to focus on two singles – one being a soundtrack and the other a single. A source in LA has alleged that one of the two collaborations will be finished soon with vocal additions by Iggy Azalea, which is surely very possible cause’ Britney has done a collab with T.I. who is Iggy’s music mentor. The other collaboration is unknown but seems to have a massive production team hiding its details, but fans are hoping that is Lady Gaga. Or better yet Madonna again. There will NOT be a new LP Britney album for a few years, according to an LA production company’s employee, so this may be the last Britney music for a while that fans sill get to hear before Britney’s likely 2-year hiatus post-residency. Britney’s EP is a combination of independent and familiar producers that were asked to create this mini-creation as a “bang” that Britney want to leave behind – at least for now.
The whole EP thing is a trick to be a promotional tool for Britney’s Vegas show, new Fantasy: Stage Edition fragrance, and new sleepwear lines. It is alleged that Britney’s net worth is expected to double in 2 years due to the focus on products while Britney is in a stable musical stage of her life – the sold-out residency and the ongoing buzz of her most recent music.
Still, nothing is confirmed by Britney or her team.

There’s rumblings Britney Spears began recording new music for an upcoming EP, and while that EP is purely speculation, BreatheHeavy.com CAN confirm various producers and writers have been asked to submit music for the Queen.
An EP may be what the doctor ordered! Her last album, “Britney Jean,” sold alright… Britney traditionally doesn’t enjoy promoting her music. If she releases a five-song set with new, experimental music following the last half of Piece Of Me next year, she may have her cake and eat it, too.
Speaking of new music, two songs were recently registered on the SACEM music database called “I Wanna Know” and “Don’t Cry For Me.”
