That's how Adam Lambert (not me) described his album...

You do realize a concept album has, well, a concept, right? There's literally no theme tying Trespassing together.
"Concept" isn't a statement of quality

Trespassing
Never Close Our Eyes
Outlaws of Love
Pop That Lock
Maps
Take Back
Running
There are elements of a concept album on Trespassing and even Adam said that Trespassing is sort of like a concept album.

Electra Heart, My Chemical Romance, The Fame Monster (the different monsters of fame she encountered) and that Linkin Park album are all concept albums.
For anyone who doesn't know (some won't), there's 2 types that I am aware of, story and thematic concept albums. Electra Heart and The Black Parade are story concept albums or in the case of The Black Parade, a rock opera. Whereas, The Fame Monster is a thematic concept album with each of the songs representing a different monster of fame.
