One of my favorite songs of the year..but I find the video a bit off-putting tbh. IMO the video doesn't really portray what the song is all about...I mean yeah she goes from being a waitress to becoming a singer but the story lacks a certain kind of depth and authenticity.

That's true that is what I felt as well but after she sees the dude making out with another girl, I think it just shows her really moving on again idk
I like the circle light part its like im being mesmerized
