Disney is already planning on doing HSM4. They have already announced it. It's why they added 3 new worthless characters in the 3rd movie. Most likely its only going to be a DCOM movie. The only original characters I could see coming back are Ashley (hello...Sharpay's is supposed to be working at East High next year) and Corbin (he's going to the hometown university).



It will pass 100 million in the US.

It's at 62 million now in the US and its only been out 10 days. It will pass 80 million in the US easily...it will probably be close to 80 million at the end of next weekend give or take 5 million or so. It's been making a little over 1 million a day Mon-Thur which means it will be around 66 million on Thursday and add another 7 million for next weekend (a 50% drop from last weekend) and you are already at 74 million and that would put the movie out for a little over 2 weeks. This movie is going to be in theaters until December at the latest (Most Disney/BV movies have been staying in theaters at least 15 weeks.)...and Disney is even planning on having a sing a long version.

I am pretty sure none of the original cast will come back in the new one. The main cast, Ashley, Vanessa, and Zac have said this will be their final movie, though supposedly Zac is being offered 8-10 million to return.
