The point, my dear, was that nobody really cares what your radio station plays when we're talking who's bigger nationally or globally. If you want to make an argument as to recurrent radio numbers, fetch the nationwide US numbers at the very least.

Rihanna can do any genre except rock but she won't need to do rock anyway, and she could easily do a soft rock/alt rock song if it's stripped down and catchy enough. She's so malleable and has already proved that she can do the adult contemporary style (Diamonds & Stay consecutively), and she's only 26 I don't like to use hyperbole, but if she plays her cards right we could be looking at Madonna-esque longevity. 1983 - 2009 is 26 years (Madonna's first big hit and her last big hit...for now....?? ), for Rihanna that would mean slayage until she's 43 in 2031. Difficult but not totally impossible.

Gaga songs aren't ideal on talent-shows because sometimes her melodies & lyrics don't translate well into cover versions.

Only Gaga can do an acoustic cover of one of her own songs really spectacularly. When talent show contestants do it, it's more awkward.

I remember a contestant on some talent show covered Applause & it was really bad.

Adele is the queen of talent shows though. The queen of everything really these days, if she toured she'd be the queen of that too, she could probably have charged Barbra Streisand prices and sold out stadiums like that in 2012. Poor our faves.
