In this tech-suave day and age, I am amazed at how history continue to repeat itself. From the fighting oppression and hate, to modern conflicts that mirror past tragic events, the world has not really changed.
Examples:
1) Russia's annexation of Crimea. From past experiences, annexation has always led to conflict. I mean, Putin could have just Googled "previous annexations".
2) Human Rights. Throughout history, people have always been fighting for some type of rights. Why can't people just understand that it's pointless to attack someone because they're different.
3) Inhumane acts. I am pro-peace but it breaks my heart to see pro-Israelis talk about "exterminating" and "wiping out" Palestinians but then use the "victim card" as to why they deserve the land. Something doesn't add up.
Therefore, I would like to know why history repeats itself, despite all the information that's available?
Please don't make this thread "mess" as I am curious to know what others are thinking. P.S: this isn't the Middle East Conflict thread.
I agree. But most of the time, Politicians do things that cause history to repeat itself. Are you saying Politicians are poorly educated: World leaders?
