I don't even know where to start. 
It looks like they slashed her budget to $0, and then sued her for more so that she ended up with less than she had 
prior to having a deal.  
It's hard to believe this is the same chick who gave us arguably one of the best, most cinematic music video's of modern time (Ride). It's so bad that I actually laughed at multiple points...but maybe that was her intention???
A critique of the cliche she helped propel?
