As for the lyrics supposedly referencing Egypt, not really. Mantra, third eye, energy, karma, and lotus bloom are explicit Hindu-Buddhist references, not Egyptian ones. The silver moon, aura, tropical temperature, river under the blood-orange sun and destiny references are more ambiguous, but fit the context, especially with the music being explicitly South Asian.

No, it's disrespectful because the story of Pocahontas is a glamorization of a terrible time in American History that resulted in the of killing thousands and ruining of cultures. Not to mention that the real story was far less of a happy ending than would appear in a Katy Perry video. If you want to know just how glamorized the story is, look no further than the meaning of Pocahontas, which meant "****". (If this is censored that word is a s-word meaning very provocative woman).

If she could do it right, I think it could be done. But most likely she'll be wearing colourful feathers in her hair, a revealing leather tube top and skirt with fringe, braids and other cultural appropriation.

This would make more sense to do Pocahontas for her because she would be mimicking someone else's depiction which was done pretty well. However I think she should stay away from Halloween-costume-inspired concepts.

Try being less racist. HyunA isn't white and she's not appropriating any culture in her video. There are no symbols or anything of cultural relevance in that scene.
