sometimes that is the case but in lana's case i think that the many, many teenagers that love her will make her a legend or at least iconic in reference to our time by passing her music down to the next generation. that is usually the case with rockstars. and in our digital age, you don't need hits to have impact. she is at the forefront of the indie music movement and will have a lot of impact in the coming years because she paved the way for indie music to become mainstream.
