No, because in the past I felt like the person that always had to text first. Now I hardly ever text first unless you're a really close friend of mine.

If I'm really close with someone, it doesn't matter who texts first - it just happens.

If you don't text back in a reasonable time frame or at all multiple times, I'm done with you. Especially if its important. People will respond for someone they care about, and won't for those they don't.

Yep. It got to the point where I told a certain group of friends that I'm done making plans for the group since they never run out of excuses to not show up. I said that I'll be available whenever, it's just that they have to do the planning from then on. 2 years later and we have not gotten together at all since.

I know right. I HATE it when they say they miss me so much and all that **** but never make any effort to show it.
