"You're Not Good Enough" is very ’80s soft rock and a light funk of Prince. Samantha Urbani (Dev's girlfriend) is the female counterpart on this track and like most of his songs, his collaborative work and duets with female artists are usually his greatest . When the funky bass starts to kick in, how can you not jam out to this? For a song with lyrics that are so cruel the sound is certainly upbeat and fun.

I'm really glad this made top 10. It's a nice track. Gave it an 8, so I'm close to the average.

Not gonna lie, I always preferred Chamakay just a bit. I'm really glad that this made the top then though.

Kinda surprised this is out already. 
Really good track though. Wish it went top 5, but top 10 is still good. Uncle ACE is still my favorite of all the singles.

I'll start out by saying Shlohmo is one of my favorite producers this year. Not only this great track here but even for the stuff he's been doing with R&B croooner Jeremih this year. "Brain" is along the lines of "Waiting Game" and "Fall Over" but more soulful, more intense and Banks' and the production harmonize so well. Around the 2:00 mark the song gets epic with those distorted vocals, backing chants and a hook.

I did this rate before it grew on me. Otherwise, I would have given it a 10. Not that it would change anything.
I wanted either this or Retrograde to win. Retrograde better not be the next elimination...

"Play By Play" was one of the most acclaimed tracks of 2013, not even in R&B, but just songs in general. I was shocked this wasn't his last single in the rate or even crowned the winner. The best moment about "Play By Play" is that slow and sexy build-up to its explosive climax. There is also something about his voice/falsetto that's so offputting but unique and irresistible.
