The decision will come to in 21 days, if no one with standing (court-deemed right to oppose) fights then people can marry in three weeks. Your Attorney General isn't defending the ban so let's hope your Governor doesn't either.

North Carolinians are such an active people--when injustice happens they actually DO something about it. Proud the South is slowly changing.

There's a case still pending in North Carolina, if they convince the judge to strike down the ban on a local level, couples can marry faster! NC couples are already asking for a ruling.

Can someone post a list of states that have accepted gay marriage (including the recent ones)?
