Jennifer Hudson 200k is not that bad.

The problem is that people don`t have to buy a whole album anymore for one song, they prefer buy the song that like. And that kills the album sales.

Certain types of albums do well.

The only type of album that I would buy, would be ones to sit and listen to and appreciate.

I can appreciate pop singles but there's no way I would go and buy Britney or Rihanna etc because the music does not age well.

I think thats why albums like Coldplay do well.

So glad Jazmine and Jennifer had great sales. Obviously one was far better than the other but Jen has gotten way more exposure; 65K is amazing for a debut artist that I didn't know existed until three weeks ago.

Money & the economy has changed over the years & the internet produces free albums for ppl to download without paying. If the internet never exist record sells wld be huge but the internet is here 2 stay & will coutinue to prouce free music 2 be shared across the world.

I love how you just single out Britney, and Rihanna. I'm not a fan of Rihanna but, she does have Umbrella.

theres 2 types of singles.
album sellers & single sellers.an album seller is when you hear the single on the radio and it amkes you wont to buy the album.single makes you want to buy the single.
PCD's album flopped because WIGU is a **** song & a single seller but IHTP could definetly save it.Leonas album has done amazing because both of her singles so far are album sellers.all of Rihannas singles from GGGB have been single sellers but because there's so many people just decided to but the album.
