I came out in my senior year of high school. It wasn't liberating at all, it just felt awkward. I felt like everyone was seeing me as a different person of judging me or something.
I feel like I'm the only person who felt more comfortable coming out to my family and did so (and is still currently only out) with my family before any friends. Like I haven't told any of my friends. And I'm not an obvious bi either, so they don't suspect.
