New 1D - "One Chance to Dance" to pay homage to MJ?
Quote:
One Direction's fourth album is expected to be released later this year - which only leaves a 5 month window until new 1D music hits our eagerly awaited ears, YAY - and the hype surrounding the record is already reaching fever pitch.
The boys have been collaborating with all sorts of people, from McFly to Naughty Boy - and the latter has been chatting about the song he's written with Zayn Malik, called 'One Chance to Dance'.
Speaking to the Independent, he said: "I’ve been working with Zayn Malik. I’m really impressed by him and his writing ability. I spoke to Simon [Cowell] about it recently and it looks like ['One Chance to Dance'] might be a single."
As we reported recently, Naughty Boy – whose real name is Shahid Khan – announced that the track he had written in collaboration with One Direction star Zayn Malik is to be entitled One Chance to Dance, and today it’s been revealed that the track was written as a tribute to the late Michael Jackson.
However, it seems that when Zayn and his band mates record the video to accompany the track, it won’t be sombre and will instead feature them dressed as Jackson while replicating his famous dance moves.
According to The Sun, one line of the song states, “I’m no professional dancer, I’m no Michael Jackson”.
The issue of dancing on-stage has always been a contentious one for Zayn, and fans may recall that during X Factor’s Boot Camp, he really struggled with the dance moves that were choreographed by Brian Friedman…
However, that’s all water under the bridge now, and fortunately for Zayn, dancing doesn’t feature highly in any of 1D’s performances.

Why do almost all of their videos have some tacky theme like this?
The One Chance to Dance title and everything is true, but I can't find anything legitimizing the MJ tribute claims. The Sun is the original source, and well... it's the Sun

Yeah, I know. I put a question mark at the end of the title just in case.
