Maybe it's time to make it mandatory and require every homeowners to buy alarm system and have visible signs that say "neighborhood watch in effect" to deter burglars?

Why is everybody acting like he went for a Call of Duty type kill when he shot her.. Its not like he shot her point blank, the gunshot happened to kill her. Plus this isn't some young healthy person it is a 80 year old man who was attacked in his home, one strike could've killed him.

If there was a baby then the mother is the murdered by putting her child in this type of situation.

You don't throw a child off a cliff then blame the rocks at the bottom for killing it.

I personally wouldn't have shot to kill but she willingly invaded the home of an innocent civilian and by doing that she has accepted all actions that could occur.

I sound harsh but if i were in his situation, i would have been scared as hell.LOL

They were unarmed. She didn't deserve to die. it's just burglary and not life threatening. Burglarized items are replaceable.
