Hopefully one day you see the subtle brilliance to The Simpsons. Generally speaking it's not funny in an obvious way, a la Seth's shows. It's more about social commentaries and indirect jokes.
I rarely laugh out loud while watching The Simpsons, but it's clever and I'm always entertained throughout.
