(Reuters) - The wife of Cameroon's vice prime minister was kidnapped and at least three people were killed in an attack by Boko Haram militants in the northern town of Kolofata on Sunday, Cameroon officials said.
Boko Haram have killed hundreds of people this year, mostly in northeastern Nigeria, although they have bombed places across the country.
The first half of 2014 Boko Haram killed more than 2000 civilians, in about 95 attacks. The leader has also taken responsibility for the April 2014 kidnapping of over 200 Nigerian school girls.
