Ok now I'm assuming then that you didn't read the article I linked. I didn't add it because I didn't think it was that important but she originally was looking for Caucasian donors but they were either used already or didn't meet her standards so she expanded her pool of candidates to other ethnicities.
"Catherine said she wanted to seek more diverse candidates because she had a limited pool of potential Caucasian donors who met her standards, many of whom had already been used by other local patients."
