I've actually done Janet's choreographies at local competitions. I don't think J.Lo is that amazing but she's very diverse. I've done the 'All for you' and 'Get Right' breakdown choreo and nailed both. But I couldn't do the African bunny dance Beyoncé did in RTW, it was just impossible and it looked bad.

Not entirely I've seen her play no one with it and she was great.
Even so bey beats her in the perfoming part while alicia does in the production part.
Plus her work especially pre girl on fire has always been more acclaimed than bey's it shouldn't be surprising if someone feels A.K gets more praise.

It's easy to nit pick parts of routines you can do out of someone's catalogue. However, Janet changed the say people do dancing. Beyonce really hasn't added anything to dance. Frankly people don't care as much about it. However, she can shake and move her body. I'll give Bey that. I'm not going to give her points for being a good dancer because she's not technically speaking.

Beyonce is an icon and a legend so of course there's more hate that comes with that level of fame. Alicia is alright but mostly stays in her lane as she knows she can't really compete with the big girls.

The only album Beyonce outsold Alicia was BEYONCE vs. Girl On Fire...and half of that is due to the media hype surround Beyonce's surprise iTunes release...but now see how face BEYONCE is plummeting the charts? It had no longevity.

In what way? Alicia can't sing. She is technically a mess as it relates to the way she uses her voice. She can half ass play the piano. There really isn't much there. That's why you don't see artists breaking their necks to work with her. Alicia is definitely a case where her "talent" is very much more hype than talent.

Bey has actually got the goods. That's why she's able to work with a variety of people, musicians, musical styles and situations. Bey doesn't have to be staged. Bey can be everywhere and do what she does. I can't see Alicia doing what Bey did at the Oscars and doing so well. It totally made me respect Bey's talent.

I do think prior to BEYONCE, Bey had never had a great album. BEYONCE gave Bey her first great album. Nothing in Alicia's catalogue even comes close. Every other Bey and Alicia album has about 3-4 solid tracks. They all kinda run together.

I think it's stupid to say Alicia Keys can't compete with the "big girls". Alicia Keys does what she does. She doesn't want to be a pop/r&b princess. She has a whole different vibe which is why I don't even understand why we are comparing them tbh.
