"Word on the street is that Britney has recorded a couple new songs, along with previously recorded tracks, that will be released in EP form. There are two collaborations on the EP as well. The EP is likely to have a few of Britney Jean and Femme Fatale club-bangers along with two newly recorded songs. The EP is to focus on two singles - one being a soundtrack and the other a single - whereas the EP as a whole is to be a promotional tool for Britney's Vegas show, new Stage fragrance, and new sleepwear lines. It is alleged that Britney's net worth is expected to double in 2 years due to the focus on products while Britney is in a stable musical stage of her life - the sold-out residency and the ongoing buzz of her most recent music. A source in LA has alleged that one of the two collaborations will be finished soon with vocal additions by Iggy Azalea. The other collaboration is unknown but seems to have a massive production team hiding its details. There will NOT be a new LP Britney album for a few years, according to an LA production company's employee, so this may be the last Britney music for a while that fans sill get to hear before Britney's likely 2-year hiatus post-residency. Britney's EP is a combination of independent and familiar producers that were asked to create this mini-creation as a "bang" that Britney want to leave behind - at least for now." -- Garnish Music Production student
As I was reading this, I went from happy (new music) to sad (basically going to be leftover tracks) to happy (singles) to sad (collaborations) to happy (her brand is expanding) to sad (no LP for a couple of years) to happy (she is on a break she rightfully deserves) to sad (her elongated break from music) to happy (with her inevitable return to music where she will rock the scene once again).
