I thought Christ the Redeemer was huge, but this is like 3x taller.

It scares me a bit
A) because I feel like this statue will wake up and come to life and kill everyone in sight

B) I feel like if an earthquake happens and that statue tips over..well then goodluck to the houses and ppl near by

C) this statue also probably cost millions...in a country that is probably extremely poor and could have used that money for other vital things such as food...medication etc.. (could be wrong..maybe this is an ancient statue? Idk)

Anyway it's got a strange vibe but the hands look cool and I can picture the sun rising from behind.

I hope you're talking about statues in general, cos this is in JAPAN.

Most of these statues represent something that is very culturally or religiously significant. If anything, they're priceless (and not to mention brings about tourist money too).
