Israel Bans Radio Broadcast Naming Children Killed in Gaza because it's "politically controversial".

The Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) has censored a radio clip naming children killed in Gaza, due to its "politically controversial" content, Haaretz reported Thursday.
Israeli human rights group B’Tselem, which prepared the censored broadcast, appealed against the decision but the IBA once again refused to run the clip.
According to Haaretz, the broadcast reveals the fact that children have been killed in Gaza since Israel’s Protective Edge operation began 17 days ago, reading out some of their names.
"So far more than 600 people have been killed in bombings in Gaza, more than 150 of them children. But apart from a brief report on the number of fatalities, the Israeli media refrains from covering them," B’Tselem said in a statement cited by Haaretz.
The human rights watchdog plans to petition Israel's Supreme Court on Sunday in an effort to lift the ban, the Guardian reports.
There is obviously going to be "shields" around any given Hamas member anywhere in Gaza. Gaza is the size of Rhode Island, but DOUBLE the population. You can't squeeze that many people in it and expect them to successfully maneuver themselves when you "warn" where you're going to strike, which by the way is my FAVORITE excuse in addition to the human shield one.

First of all if calling out israel on killing innocent children makes us sound like that then so be it, it is a lot better then trying to excuse their deaths as some sort of collateral damage.
This whole war did not start from the kidnapping of the 3 teenagers, that may have caused Israel to decide to collectively bomb gaza these last couple of weeks but it in no way started this whole "war".
You say hamas is refusing a ceasefire, ofcourse they are when that ceasefire still entails an israeli siege on their country and continuing illegal settlement expansion . They already said they will agree to a ceasefire if the siege on the Palestinians is lifted so i guess by your own logic Israel is to blame, would you be willing to criticize them for not lifting the siege and illegal land grabs for peace?
I agree with you the only innocent parties in this are the civilians whom are being killed, not the israeli soldiers bombing innocents, not the murderers who killed those 3 Israeli boys, and not the israeli government who continues to illegally attack places of shelter like UN school and hospitals.
You can't justify what israel is doing to the palestinians and trying to mock others criticism of it makes you seem immature, Israel is wrong for what they are doing to them and yet you insist we look past that and focus on Hamas, how about you guys stop trying to point the finger elsewhere and realise that Israel is committing WAR CRIMES against the Palestinian population.
