There's some excellent **** coming out of the disco-funk trend. It's starting to get a bit repetitive, but Miracle feels more authentic than something like Birthday or Blow.

Maybe because it's got those "wicky-wub" moments with the guitar and bass (do you know what I'm talking about lol). I feel like when you include those in a song it's automatically an 8 or a 9.

That "All Day" song by Kanye sounds like it's going to be annoying. He's annoying. Shame he makes good music.

He was downright attacking, insulting her on twitter and gloated about how he was going to review the album lol.

A few critics did the same.

Although I start to like Lindsay from P4k simply because she admitted it in one of her podcast and that's why UV wasn't reviewed by her.

Most of the music journalists have this weird hatred against lana lol..... I've said this before..I've never seen anything like it.

people hate Miley but I've never seen a respectable critic bashing her on twitter. (only basic ass gossip sites or TMZ something like that)

They were both expected to completely flop at the box office too.

I don't know why people like to doubt superstars like them. They aren't Gagas, Britneys or Katys. They can actually sustain success

If Ultraviolence consisted of the first four songs on the record and maybe like Old Money and
a few other ones it could've been better but there are too many stupid songs.

Did you ever stop to think there was a good reason why she's disliked among critics?

I'll be the first to say Lana's music hits home with me but that's not thinking critically / objectively.
Ultraviolence was never getting a 90 just like Bangerz was never getting above a 61.

So no one actually likes Lana's music, right? Everyone who bought her album just did it because they bought into Lana her "serious artiste" schtick and they thought it somehow validated their music tastes, right?

I'm still hooked on Thirsty and Faded. But I wasn't a fan of her new album as a whole.

Pitchfork's review of Ultraviolence was like exactly spot-on; the 405 is an irrelevant publication and consequently had almost no impact on her score anyway.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm homosexual or just get sucked into stupid Pop music easily (looks at avi) but I actually really like Ultraviolence. And honestly, certain songs seem, to me, easily good from an objective standpoint like West Coast, Shades Of Cool, Brooklyn Baby, the title track...
