I'd say about a decade ago, it was a middle of a snowstorm and my family was stranded at night in a treacherous mountain pass with no one else in sight. Turns out, the whole ideal was only a half an hour in duration, but I could've seriously died that night.

Getting raped by 2 men that turned out to be priests 2 years ago, near a bar and having no justice because i was not economically strong and because the government has a law that protects church staff. Waking up in the middle of the night to my house burning down, probably. Our three cats were still in the house but I couldn't grab them before we had to run out and we had to stand out on the lawn for what felt like hours as our hopes gradually faded until eventually the firefighters brought them out.
When I was sixteen and my parents were out of town I had a friend over and we took my mom's car out for a drive. After cruising around the streets we decided to take the interstate. All was well until I was going to take the next exit and got hit on the right side of the car by a truck making me lose control of the vehicle and I ended up hitting the barriers. I was in panic because I knew my parents were going to kill me though that was the least of my problems because my friend was knocked out. I blame that accident for being the reason as to why I don't like driving unless I really have to.
