The flower head thing is a trend from the 60's/hippie era.

I do think Lana has influenced others though, Taylor's Red cover + IKYWT video, Rihanna's Diamonds video.

I think Lana helped popularize this trend again amongst hipsters. It's only become more of a mainstream trend since then. I would attribute most, not all, of the re-popularization to Lana.
