Depp is such a sellout, he destroyed what something was a GREAT trilogy once, that guy doesn't care for anything besides money, his film choices for last... 5 or 6 years...
Pirates 3 was meh at best. Disney are offering Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man money to do it, I wouldn't turn it down either.
Honestly... They really need to just let it die. I love the first three films, but I feel like At World's End really should have been where it ended. I didn't see On Stranger Tides all the way through, but I don't see how it could possibly top the original three. And I read that Orlando Bloom would be interested in returning for this one. It's quite possible that they'll try and redeem themselves by bringing Will Turner back into the picture and again, I don't see that happening. Keira Knightley has no desire to return, and their characters have a child now. And one of the biggest complaints about the last film is the absence of Will and Elizabeth. I don't know... It just doesn't seem like this series is going anywhere. It's not doing the original three justice. They just need to let it die.
I hope it's better than the 4th.
