To the OP: the main forms of discrimination that I see here, and I see them all too frequently, are trans-phobia and HIV-phobia. Some comments and jokes are truly cruel and disrespectful towards the trans community and to those affected by HIV/AIDS.

Pretty much if you are fat, skinny, young, old, straight, transgender, have HIV, are white, are black, are Hispanic....and so on ATRL will have someone who will lash out at you and dislike you. Fortunately, this an internet forum of all kinds of people. Just put on some thick skin and move forward. You can't change the ignorance of others who believe they "know" everything about you, based on a part of who you are.
