Discussion: "Et cetera" vs "Ek cetera" - Page 2

I say ek cetera out of habit, but surely if it's "Et cetera" and it's French, surely we're all pronouncing it wrong and it should be "ay cetera" or "eh cetera"? Because "Et" in french is not pronounced with the T at the end

This whole time I thought "etcetera" was one word and my spell check was just dumb for not knowing that it was a word. Turns out I'm the dumb one.

Anyway. I say "ET cetera"

I speak latin, so I pronounce it "et ketera." People that do not speak latin should just pronounce it "et cetera."

I had years of Latin in school - ET CETERA is the one and only way

actually it was pronounced ET KETERA because in latin there was no z-sound. just like caesar wasnt pronounced like we do for example.
