Why am I creating this thread? Because I can, mostly, but partly because I think it would be interesting to see what other people think are great live performances.
Here's my first pick, The Living End performing "Carry Me Home" at Australia's Big Day Out in 2003. This clip was where this idea came from, and it is also one of the most intense and just plain FUN live performances I can remember. I mean, LISTEN TO THAT ****ING BASS!
I'll have another up later. I'll give you a hint: It's my favorite live performance of the song that features the best solo of all time. Have fun figuring it out, but, in the meantime, post your own favorites!
