There's huge meltdowns going on lately on comic-book geek forums about "Batman VS Superman" and "Captain America 3" being released on the same day two years from now. 6, May 2016.
Both Marvel and DC Comics are throwing shade at each other hoping that one will soon break and change the date.
Reminder: last January Marvel announced that Captain America 3 would be released on 6, May 2016, then last April DC Comics pushed back 'Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice' from July 2015 to 6, May 2016.
Kevin Feige president of Marvel spoke out today:
Quote:
Marvel President Kevin Feige isn’t moving their “Captain America 3” release date despite “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” opening on the same day.
During an interview with Empire, Feige explained the studio has a vision and will bring “quality” entertainment, even if it means having moviegoers chose between a Marvel or DC film.
“We are doing what we’ve always done, which is sticking to our plan and sticking to our vision for the movies going forward and we have a very large vision that we’re working on for Cap 3 and for all the threes movies and just because another movie plops down onto one of ours doesn’t mean we are going to alter that. Maybe we should, but we’re not going to.”

Cap 2 was the most critically acclaimed Marvel movies (89% on RT, 8,2/10 imdb) along with Avengers and it's still the top box office film of 2014.
Man of Steel did as good on the box office but was critically panned (55% on RT, 7,2/10 imdb). Both the Russo Brothers and Zach Znyder are coming back to direct the sequels.
