Cut them off tbh. I don't need negative people in my life, especially when I'm trying to better myself and be happier. Unless its close family, then I make more of an effort to discuss things with them

I accept them for who they are. Maybe they're just cynical and have a dry sense of humour, which I can appreciate. Or maybe they have depression, in which case being nice to them is exactly what they need.

An overly positive person is just as, if not more, annoying.

The older and more mature I get, the more I realise I'm a Squidward, and not a Spongebob.

I'm not surrounded by negative people. People who were directly negative towards me I'd remove from my life. I have a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor so people often mistake that as negativity but it's really not :rip3
