I came to the decision that 'Pretty when you cry' and 'Brooklyn Baby' are the 2 überdrüber-superduper-best songs on the album. I just can't decide which one is better. It's too hard.
Cruel World is SO underrated, it's one of the best songs on the album
Preach it's musical perfection.
The eerie guitar intro,the wonderful verses,the drums in the pre chorus, the overly dramatic vocals in the chorus and finally the climax with the drumroll.
If this was the 70s it would become a classic
I listen to Cruel World like 10 times a day! It's in my TOP3 if not the best
