Rita Ora has released the second official single from her highly anticipated album, Impulse to Soar. The song, titled "Time to Hop Off", is a collaboration with popular rapper Azealia Banks. The song is reminiscent of Azealia's hard-hitting instrumentals, and infused with Rita's sultry vocals. The R&B banger is sure to be a hit on both Pop and Urban charts.
Since its release, rumors have been flying that this song was a diss track to certain female rappers in the business. When asked earlier today, hours after the track dropped, Rita said "This song isn't a diss to any female artists in particular, although there has been one who has been riding off my momentum lately. This song is to tell her that I'm done giving her the promo she can't seem to get on her own and that she should 'hop off my d*ck'." Since then fans have been trying to guess whom this mysterious artist is. A possible candidate is Marina, with whom Rita had an online spat with. This drama has since been the top discussion on twitter and pushed the single to the top of the iTunes charts.
The lyric video is expected to drop early this week, with the actually video following shortly after. Go get your copy on iTunes now!
Promoting their new single Time to Hop Off, Azealia Banks and Rita Ora appeared on The Voice today for the season finale where they performed the R&B single just released onto iTunes. The performance on The Voice attracted over 9 million viewers due to the hype surrounding the finale event. The Voice eventually uploaded the video of Azealia+Rita's performance onto YouTube where it has gained notable attention. With a good sales increase on iTunes, this performance done by Rita and Azealia helped this already hit single. "Time to Hop Off" has been trending on twitter for hours after the performance, still in the top worldwide trends.
Both Azealia and Rita wore Tom Ford stage costumes on stage. Azealia was wearing a gray diamond studded Tom Ford sweatshirt with matching sneakers and gray cutoff shorts. For hair Azealia had her all of her long luscious red hair in a pony tail covered by a diamond studded gray flat-bill hat. Both Azealia and Rita had cateye eyeliner with a nude lip. Rita was wearing a gold sweatshirt also diamond studded. Along with the sweatshirt, Rita had matching golden sneakers and cutoff shorts. Unlike Azealia, Rita did not have a hat revealing a messy bun of Rita's blond locks on her head. All of what Rita was wearing was also designed by Tom Ford.
At the start of the performance of Time to Hop Off, Azealia had her back facing the audience and Rita was face forward of the audience. On stage with the girls were about 5-10 female dancers wearing matching outfits of Rita and Azealia in all black with white sneakers. Lights shone on the stage as Azealia and Rita had their heads down ready to perform. Rita stepped out and began singing the first verse of Time to Hop Off as the dancers and Azealia all danced to this upbeat R&B track. Azealia then came in for the second verse pushing down her hat so all that could be seen was her lips sing-rapping the second verse. During the chorus of the song the two girls sang together still dancing and staying on key. During the dance break, Rita took out her bun to let her hair flow as she moved as Azealia followed by taking off her hat and throwing it to a surprised Shakira. As expected, the performance ended with a grand applause from the audience.
This is my first collab tho (besides the junglepussy+charli collab and the failed azealia, junglepussy, and miley album)(also not including my 200+ features)
Danity Kane took to the United Kingdom to introduce themselves there and start promotion. Being that United Kingdom is one of the largest markets in the music industry, Danity Kane felt the importance of doing a bit of promotion there since their new EP, ‘DK3’ just dropped that morning. Last night the girls’ first stop was Glastonbury, one of the biggest musical festivals in the world. With over sixty thousand people getting high, staying perched on the grounds, or just flat out enjoying themselves - Danity Kane knew this was the first stop they had to make in order to generate buzz for their upcoming appearances and performances on Strictly Come Dancing and the England spin-off of The X Factor, where it originally began I believe. Singing many of their old hits as well as their fresh material, the girls came through and delivered quite the night. After their performance, ‘DK3’ shot to #1 on the Albums Chart and “Rage” entered the Top 100, while “Lemonade” was still cruising around the Top 40 on the charts. They opened the show with “Bad Girl”, which was their biggest flop single of all-time, however arguably their best. The track features Missy Elliot, as her verse was played via playback. In the performance, Danity Kane had a jail setup in which their goal was to seduce the guards into breaking out. The stage was black, as everything was ready to go. Suddenly the sirens start bursting and the screens blur like a 1960s wrecked up TV. A voice comes on saying: “I think we’re experiencing some technical difficulties,” a man says. Smoke clutters the stage as lights start beaming into the crowd and the stage’s setup is revealed. There are several tables, with cages way back in the stage. Men in suits walk out with the cages and lay them on the tables as the lights turn red as each member is trapped in a cage, and Aubrey begins to sing the song as she’s let out of the cage. She sticks with the choreography that they had done back in 2008, slaying it effortlessly and the entire performance just gave 2008 teas. “What’s up Glastonbury, make some noise y’all!” Dawn commanded. After they introduced themselves and talked a bit about the band’s history, and what they’re looking to accomplishing in the UK, the stage switched up as the girls performed classics from their debut album, “Sleep On It”, “Heartbreaker” and “Stay With Me”. Afterwards Aubrey went into the crowd and started asking people for names, and asking if they could share their Glastonbury experience with everyone else in the audience. So far so good, as the trio moved onto a part in their set where they performed songs from their sophomore album, ‘Welcome to the Dollhouse’. And in surprise, the trio covered rival girl group, The Pussycat Dolls with “Hush Hush; Hush Hush”, put a more Urbanized version of the song that they had reworked with The Stereotypes, as they’ve said. During that act of their set, the girls performed fan-favorites (welp, from the US anyway) “Pretty Boy”, “Strip Tease” and “Ecstasy”. During “Strip Tease”, as always, the trio brought random men from the crowd and showed ‘em how it’s done. Having performed for about forty-five minutes, the girls kicked it into overdrive and announced: “This is where **** gets serious. Hit it!” Aubrey shouted. “Lemonade” played as everyone in the crowd began to sing along to Dawn who popped it low and rapped her introductory verse. Throughout the song, blue and yellow lights filled up the night sky as the girls did their regular routine. The music faded out and Shannon shouted: “UK - this is your QUEEN. Please welcome to the stage - the legendary Miss Céline Dion!” as the crowd began to enter in meltdown mode. Céline stepped out to the stage and rapped her verse, while dancing to the breakdown that Danity Kane normally enters. “H.B.I.C, yes that’s me / I’m just tryna turn up, don’t mind me” Céline commanded in her rap as she popped her ***** a little bit with Dawn. After that performance, she went to assist the DJ with the rest of the set and encouraged the crowd to make some noise a few times during some more performances. After “Lemonade”, the girls performed “Show Stopper” having a few cars on stage and rolling up in them. They actually drove off stage and into the crowd, giving the cars to random fans to keep after the festival, which was truly a nice gift from them. After “Show Stopper”, the girls performed “Damaged”, which some people in the crowd knew despite only being a major hit in the US. Afterwards, the trio performed a song fresh from ‘DK3’, “Rhythm of Love”. Céline sang some of the song with them in the background, as they continued slaying with hair flips and jumping in 1, 1, 1-2 sequences and really pumping it up as many lasers shot out with futuristic and retro lighting too - many were red, orange and purple. “Thank you so much for loving us tonight and shoutout to Céline for coming to help us out!” Shannon bursted. “This last song, is a song we wanted to do for you. Lots of y’all have some lighters and glow sticks, but all of y’all have hands - so lemme see you put them up and sway it like this. Yeah, that’s it!” she continued encouraging. “This one is our new single - it’s called RAGE!” Aubrey screened. Lots of smoke came out and fogged up the stage, as Danity Kane stepped on a platform that started being lifted up, and they sang their brand-new single. Their vocals were amazing, and the whole vibe of it was completely epic. The show ended with a huge BANG in the live band / DJ effects and the lights all blacked out. “Thank you Glastonbury! We love you!” shouted Danity Kane as the concert ended. Here was their full setlist:

I'm not coming for you but it'd be nice to have a solo week, y'know? I mean this bothers me since y'all were quick to drag me for collaborating.
Yas K$Ellie To be honest after G.R.L. and Neon Jungle got signed I got a lot more motivated to work more and starting getting myself together. This ain't gonna be the season of girl groups if one keeps flopping and dragging the others down Btw wait who's releasing a new album this week?

I though about doing it before but now that there's a 20 article limit I'll definitely do it. I'll probably have 10 articles done for Ellie by tomorrow so I can spend the rest of the week promoting The Saturdays Watch the What Are You Waiting For? video and buy it on iTunes
