ATRL: How do you get a gif as your avatar?

I'm having the hardest time trying to upload a gif as my avatar and when I upload it, nothing moves.

Well make sure it's a gif file first. Then upload it to either Minus.com or Tinypic (any other image hosting site) and insert the direct link to image

You have to upload it to a different website like imgur.com or minus.com.
After you've uploaded the image, copy the direct URL and paste it in the box under High Quality Avatar.

You might need to have it re-sized so it fits. I can't tell what it is in your avi. If I was at home, I would do it for you.
