You don't want boring, but want Adeleish?
Kidding. I do reckon they'll change it up. C2C could range from classic swing to pop/soul, with Gaga satisfying the more mainstream crowd. They'd be foolish not to try and make the album commercial on some level - even if it's just delivering one single that could be played on radio. An accessible promo song that will help sell the album to people who aren't sure.

I think she should invest in a collab single or two before returning with a solo album. Quality and commerciality of material are only part of the problem - she needs to win people over first so they're more open to her efforts. In marketing, if you want your brand to automatically be associated with desirability/fun/cool/whatever then you attach your brand to something that is considered that. i.e. Beyonce, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Jay Z etc.
THEN, she should deliver her solo material when people are already onboard and your product is an easier sell. Which is important for her right now.
ALSO, I think she should release and perform a charity single in space. Her Imagine. Put it on the album later when it arrives.
So, tl;dr
- C2C single (i.e. Paradise) with album in August/September
- C2C festive cover single for the holidays in November
- Charity single for space trip in Q2(?)
- Collab single(s) between Q1-3 (urban song better earlier, club song better later).
- Album #5 single at the end of summer.
