"Dark Horse" changed everything. At the beginning of the Prism era, "Birthday," "Walking On Air," "Legendary Lovers," and "This Is How We Do" were all going to be released at some point -- now one or two have to be sacrificed.
You don't know her original plans. She could release Ghost or By the Grace of God.
Who said Legendary Lovers & Walking on Air were going to be future singles but that Capitol was waiting for Katy to have some time to promote these two songs because they had faith in them????
It was actually FAKE???
Legendary Lovers is real and confirmed by Katy
Walking On Air isn't
So the video teaser should come out in a few days?
I hope she'll post the artwork
She is doing a mistake by releasing the lyric video before the single, and by releasing the music video so close to the lyric video. Why does she hurry, she should really take her time.
But this song is so smashy I hope it will enter the top 10 anyway. I doubt if this promo will get it to the top 30
Hey sisters in Katy
I'm not here for Walking On ART not being a single but I hope this one won't flop. PRISM could use another hit single for that extra longevity.
I'm starting to think maybe timing is not the problem. Many hits smashed while other hits of the same artist still smashed as well.
Dark Horse began rising while Roar was still a hit. Maybe Unconditionally and Birthday are just not good a singles? You can never know what is good as a single and what isn't honestly. We didn't expect Dark Horse to smash that hard, and if Wide Awake was just a track in the TD album I would never guess it would become a succesful single.

Birthday was defined by Billboard the easiest hit on the album tho, and it's really catchy
Do you guys think she'll re-release the album ? Sounds like a good idea to me with the current decline in album sales.
With that she could sell an extra 500K, at least, and have another hit single.
I really hope it will come at us like a dark horse and smash hard, with all the terrible promotion.
Did you notice? So far the only smashes from this album were released before the album, (Roar and Dark Horse)
Is that a sign she needs to release Walking On Air
