t.A.T.u's new russian CD is in Russian stores now, and is also available to download on itunes around the globe.... it includes 3 or 4 new English songs and the rest are in Russian. Search for "t.A.T.u. Happy Smiles" on itunes and it will take you to the album. The English version of the album will be out sometime in spring 2009 near the release of the "you & I" Movie.

QFT. Katy Perry wishes her first album could sell millions like t.A.T.u.'s first.

LMAO I noticed that Katy's album "underperformed". I don't wanna use the word flop because loons here at ATRL are too sensitive.

Comparing the two seems pretty stupid to me, even if only solely on the basis of Katy's one or two lesbian-esque tracks to Tatu's lesbian-esque career.

It's the same album, only with an album title change and i think 1 or 2 songs may have been taken off and others (Happy Smiles in particular) added on.... noticeably, Waste Management (the song) is not on the album.

oh and the person who wanted to know whether it the English album had a confirmed date or just Spring 2009..... no confirmed date yet, i wouldn't look for a confirmed date until like RIGHT before the album release.... the CD of the russian version came out yesterday in Russia (October 21) and the date was only announced like a week or two before that.... even though the album had been expected for months.

The album is pretty much amazing. I really didn't think the russian version would be released in the states.
But I still love it.

i know! the first russian album you can find at FYE stores and all as an import, but the second russian one was never available in US stores. I'm glad they released the 3rd one on itunes, because last time i had to import the russian one. So i'm guessing the 4 english songs will also be on the English album, perhaps the same, perhaps different (like the English & Russian album versions of "Loves Me Not" --- both in English, had a different beat and instrumental).
