Harry Potter 5 is my favorite book, and my least favorite movie. The film actually turned me off from the series and I have yet to watch films 6, 7, and 8.

Like how can you make the longest book, the shortest movie?

PoA is the best, but everything after it is complete trash.You could tell the director and screenwriter had a hard-on for Hermione and shipped Harry/Hermione. They completely butchered Ron and Ginny's characterizations and turned Hermione into a Mary Sue

Goblet of Fire, OOTP, and DH1.

My favorite would've been HBP but they destroyed the best parts of the book for me. Only complement I'll give is that the soft tones/coloring was gorgeous.

Part 1 is my favorite, so underrated.

Then Part 2, then Prisoner, then Chamber.

Chamber of Secrets because it scared me sh*tless.

DH2 by far. I'm surprised part 1 has more votes... it was pretty slow for those that didn't read the books.

And also interesting how Azkaban is winning when it was the lowest grossing movie of the 8.

They are all good except the horrendous 6 and 7.1 (not bad, its just too slow and the story is kinda pointless).

I didn't know Prisoner of Azkaban was so praised
Definitely my favorite.
