On the rare occasions I do go out it's usually with my straight female friends. They usually feel more at ease at the gay clubs because there's very little chance they'll get hit on.
My group of friends is all straight (a good mix of guys and girls) with three lesbians thrown in the mix. Then I'm the only gay guy. So it's about 18 of us who have known each other from elementary, middle, and high school and still see each other every week.
So I don't have any gay friends. I know gay guys, I maybe hangout with them here and there, but I'm not in a "gay circle." I really don't think I would fit in.
Why are we having such a hard time being friends with each other?
I'm sure the members above are probably laid back and chill
But why are the gays I meet in real life so obnoxious and over the top?
Most of my friends are gay but live in a different city so I have to hang out with my 2 straight friends here although I know a gay group but they probably don't like me enough to let me join.
